We transformed a 1971 Grumman RV into Lugapha’s Smoked BBQ restaurant, starting with a complete gutting of its interior. This camper came equipped with four beds, a dining table, a compact kitchen—oven, sink, hood, refrigerator—and a bathroom featuring a tub-shower combo. As you can imagine, dismantling all those systems was a slow, painstaking process, but it was only the beginning. The challenges piled up as we drilled every hole in the stainless steel to mount it on the walls—a tedious task that tested our resolve. Eight months of hard work later, it all paid off, resulting in a unique space where I could craft my most delicious dishes, blending passion and smoky perfection.
We specialize in smoked brisket, smoked ribs, and smoked pulled pork, using our signature rubs and slow-cooking process for unbeatable flavor.
Our long smoking process starts with carefully seasoning the meat using our unique blend of spices, allowing the flavors to fully absorb. Then, we slow-smoke it for up to 16 hours at a low temperature using pellet-style commercial smokers designed with an offset smoke feature. This method ensures a steady, even heat while infusing the meat with a deep, smoky richness from our premium hardwood pellets. The result? Fall-off-the-bone ribs, melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork, and brisket with the perfect bark and incredible flavor.
